DVI-3D Introduction

DVI-3D is built upon a robust design platform, created by NDEVR. The functionality within DVI-3D falls well short of everything this platform can support. This will provide years of possible growth without major addition user expense. At this time DVI-3D does not support animation or simulation.

DVI-3D does support external CAD functionality. By linking to common CAD applications, DVI-3D uses a unique functionality called dynamic CAD. The most common CAD program, currently linked in CSI Office, an IntelliCad program created by Carlson Software. For users that wish to allow a CAD product to handle the heavy lifting and design of the data, this functionality will send your entire data set over to CSI Office in a touch of a button. Once completed within CAD, the program will prompt the user to save the file. Once saved, this file will reopen in DVI-3D for any additional 3D work.
