Our products are specifically designed to assist the investigator with acquiring this necessary data. Delta V Innovations offers the next generation in 3-Dimensional diagramming, DVI-3D. Combining simplicity with premier graphics, complete your crash or crime scene diagram with ease. If extra CAD functionality is needed, send your data to CSI Office for processing at a touch of a button. One button functionality will return the data back to DVI-3D for any additional calculations and exporting. Use these products in tandem or individually as you choose. DVI-3D can import any number of data sets. Whether you use a total station, point cloud, dense surface model, or measurements by hand with a tape measure, you can create your scene quickly and with confidence. Our focus is not to create your workflow, just allow you to use whatever data collection you have available. If multiple data sets exist – merge them with our simplified merge tool for a more comprehensive scene diagram.

The Carlson CRx 5” robotic total station coupled with the CSI Mobile field software makes crash and crime scene mapping fast, simple, and accurate. If UAV’s are your need, we have profession and consumer sized options available. As crash reconstructionists, we recognize the importance of having reliable equipment and software that is easy to use; especially under the adverse conditions we often work. The ruggedness of all of our total stations, data collectors, and GPS receiver are ideal for the law enforcement community.

Field to Finish – Data Processing

Whether it is hand measurements or drone imagery, Delta V Innovations and Carlson have the ideal solution. ***DVI-3D allows you to input manual measurements and output scaled linework for diagramming.*** Carlson PhotoCapture Standalone, will process your drone photos and combine them with ground control points to output multiple files including orthomosaic and point cloud data sets. This product is also installed on your local computer and does not need to process the data in the cloud. You keep and own your data and process as many scenes as you like.
